A little ghost who lives by night in the castle of Eulenstein has just one wish: to see what the world is like in the light of day. One night he runs into three little kids exploring the castle and is amazed at his first sight of human beings. The day after, the ghost wakes up in the middle of town but unhappily discovers that, instead of welcoming him as he expected, the people in the city are terrified to see him and start to chase him away.
