In a palace under the sea lived a wizard. This wizard loved to prey on people who, for greed and selfishness, relinquished human kindness and affection. Such as Francesca’s father, to whom the wizard offers the Golden Mask that can stop time: a secret source of power and wealth. Francesca goes in search of her father, who has disappeared. A fantastic voyage amidst knights and dinosaurs, elves and serpents without eyeglasses, talking sunflowers and giants of stone. To respond to a challenge and a pact: «If your father wants to go home with you, you will both be free» the wizard had said, «but if he touches the Golden Mask, you’ll be my slave forever!» |
