Lola lives on a houseboat with her mother. Since her father disappeared she has become an introvert. She’s decided not to cut her hair or wash her neck where her father kissed her for the last time until he comes back. She does not get along with her classmates, either, until one day Rebin, a Kurdish child illegally in the country with his parents, enters her life. Although his father has warned him to keep to himself, the two become friends. In the meantime Lola’s mother has found a new companion, Kurt, whom Lola refuses to accept because she is still waiting for her father. Until one day she will have to ask Kurt for help because Rebin needs it. |
