Milo is a disobedient and rather selfish child, unable to understand that many of the scoldings his mother gives him and the tasks she sets him are actually demonstrations of love. The Martians, on the other hand, know that it takes a stern but loving mother to raise children well and so they capture Milo’s mother to take care of their own little ones. Milo’s incredible trip to Mars to get his mother back will make him understand the true nature of mother-love. |
