Elizabeth breaks up with an old boyfriend and confides in Jeremy, a café owner who falls in love with her. But the girl leaves New York on a trip whose stops are paced by looking for work, the desire to buy a car and the need to cure inner wounds. She will encounter personal histories that help her grow up and give her a new look at the world, inducing her to go back.
