Tashi is a young Buddhist monk who is completing his three years of solitary meditation in an inaccessible retreat. When he returns to his monastery Tashi undergoes a deep sexual awakening. His meeting with beautiful Pema puts the spiritual values of his monastic life in question. Apo, an elderly monk, would like to initiate Tashi into the sexual mysteries of the sacred Tantric texts, but Tashi forsakes the monastery for the real world, the Samsara. He marries Pema, with whom he discovers the joys of love, and has a son. But Tashi is not ready to cope with all of the aspects of daily life… |
