THE LIVING FOREST

Life is peaceful in the mysterious Cecebre forest. When there are no people around, the forest comes to life and presents itself in all its splendour and magic: the trees open their eyes, the large Oak chats with its friends the Elm, the Pine and the Eucalyptus, the birds fly around happily and the animals come out from their dens.

The wood is also home to the young mole Furi, who is very shy and does not know how to declare his love for Linda. One day, life in the forest is disturbed by strange events: a telephone pole, convinced it is very useful to humanity, arrives in the forest, and as if that were not enough, the wicked and rich Señora D'Abondo, who lives with her husband in a luxurious house on the edge of the forest, decides to renew her wardrobe and have a moleskin coat made. Linda and all the other moles in the forest disappear. Timid little Furi, aided by his friends, is transformed into a courageous fighter in order to find them.

A timeless, ecological tale for animal lovers everywhere, The Living Forest plays on a hypothetical alliance of nature against man's malign nature. ''May man ignore you'' is the greeting the protagonists exchange.
