TINTIN OBJECTIF LUNE

Tintin turns 80! He was ideated and graphically designed in 1929 by Belgian designer Georges Rémi who signed himself Hergé. Tintin is a young reporter with the intelligence and intuition worthy of the best detective and the hero of great adventure cartoons whose stories take place all over the world: Europe, the Far East, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, America and even on the moon. Together with his inseparable companion, Milou, a very intelligent white fox terrier, Tintin is continually involved in complicated mystery stories with very typical characters. Among them we cite Captain Haddock, a classic seaman with beret and pipe, grouchy and ornery but extremely generous, twin plainclothes policemen, Dupont and Dupont, and Professor Calculus, a scientist (who resembles Piccard, the baloonist who flew higher than anyone).
In the To The Moon episode, written in 1953, our characters find themselves at a secret atomic research base, hidden in the mountains and run by Baxter. Professor Calculus has been chosen to direct the mission, which will take man to the moon for the first time, with an atomic rocket. Tintin and Captain Haddock agree to accompany him. But mysterious competitors try to sabotage the plan…
