Marco Pressi is a 30-year-old manager who works for a big multinational, the MTI. One day he is offered a big career advancement if he agrees to get a certain number of employees to quit in a short time. He has to convince them that their decision is a good one, so they won't seek union help. He won't be helped in this by Laura, his almost-girlfriend he knows little about, wanting only to sleep beside her; nor will he be helped by those involved in his action, or by the general manager, convinced that Marco won’t succeed in his thankless task.
