Two walk-ons on the set of a war movie. Ignored, forgotten, in the background, they only await the order to leave the trenches and be blown up in a battle scene. The contrasting views of the two about their roles and their futures collide, generating in both a desire for revenge against the system that relegates them to disposable pawns of film.
