Adéla Lachoutová - Head of Audiovisual Education Young Film Fest Prague

Adéla Lachoutová graduated in Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of West Bohemia, where she focused on social exclusion, housing and visual anthropology. She is the co-author of several short ethnographic films. For several years she worked and then directed the regional part of the international One World Film Festival in Pilsen. She is a lecturer of film education programmes for children and leads a department of the audiovisual education in krutón, z. s., where she is in charge of film education projects for kindergartens, primary and secondary schools, teachers and the emerging Audiovisual Hub.

 

David Simon - Head of Education Ciclic France

David Simon is Head of Education Department in Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire. Ciclic Centre-Val de Loire, the regional agency for books and images, implements a cultural public service arising from collaboration between the Centre-Val de Loire Region and the State. The agency offers a wide range of services and actions, from the administration of support funds for the film, audiovisual and book sectors to the consolidation of projects and career paths of professionals and artists through training and residencies. Ciclic also promotes artistic education activities in images and book through four aspects: raising awareness, screenings, training and publishing. Ciclic coordinates programmes in partnership with educational and cultural actors, both in-schools and out-of-school.

 

Francesco Rey - Team member of the educational programme and programmer at the Selection Committee

Francesco Rey is a filmmaker and DOP. Born in the Aosta Valley, he graduated in cinema from ESRA Côte d'Azur in France and now lives in Modena. For years, he has been part of the team of the Cactus International Children’s and Youth Film Festival, collaborating in the selection of films, the organization of the festival, and educational activities for young people. He is also a founding member of Abnormal APS, which organizes the Cactus Industry Forum, a networking and training event for professionals.
