Argentina: a woman is giving birth, two men are waiting outside to take her newborn. Two babies are born, a boy and a girl. The male (Javier) is taken by the two men, while the midwife manages to hide the girl (Rosa) in a bag. Twenty years have gone by, and Rosa is able to get in touch with her brother, who lives with his new family in Milan. She leaves to reach him, after e-mailing him about their past, the absurdity of their separation, their true mother’s untimely death. Javier cannot believe her, but she has insinuated suspicion into his mind. He meets Rosa, who shows him photos and documents of their relationship and Javier decides to join her to Barcelona. There, in a medical centre they could prove their kinship through a DNA test; besides, the midwife who helped their mother is now living there…
