The documentary depicts the activities of Mara Casella from Ticino, Switzerland, who has established a school for the disabled in Ladakh territory (a region administered by India as a Union Territory that constitutes the eastern portion of the larger Kashmir region), thus drawing from isolation a substantial number of children and youths with the cooperation of their families.
