Youssef, a twelve-year-old Palestinian boy, is a child of the Intifada: his father is in prison and his brother is wanted by the Israeli army. He lives with his mother and his sister in a camp in Gaza Strip. He likes wandering from this sad world with the help of his imagination. One day, while he is trying to catch some birds in an orange grove, he dreams of a hero of a story who wants to go to the States to look for the three stones missing in Aida’s grandmother’s necklace. Aida is a girl he met in the wood and he has immediately fallen in love with her. In the meanwhile, the war around him is going on.
