James is a nine-year-old orphan, the ward of two odious aunts. One day he discovers a passageway into a peach as big as a house. On board this magic peach, and in the company of friendly insects (grasshopper, spider, centipede, worm, firefly and lady bug) he takes off for the city of his dreams: New York.
