Swiss Premiere The Parada Foundation was established in Romania to assist children abandoned during the Ceausescu dictatorship (and afterwards) who were forced to live on the streets, finding shelter in the underground tunnels of Bucharest. When Miloud, a 19-year-old French-Algerian circus master, arrived in 1992 and saw the children coming out of the manholes, he decided not to remain indifferent and offered them a reason to smile and survive by teaching them the art of juggling and clowning. This film was born out of the need to give a voice to those children who, thanks to Miloud’s commitment, managed to save themselves and create a social reality that continues its commitment to this day.
