Nafas, a young Afghani journalist who has been living in Canada for years, receives a tragic letter from her younger sister who is still living in Afghanistan: she intends to commit suicide on the solar eclipse, because of the women’s conditions in that country. Nafas had run away from her country during the war won by the Talebans. She decides to go back, embarking on a desperate quest to save her sister, trying to pass the Iran-Afghanistan border.
