The film follows it’s protagonist Kaveri, a 13 year old girl, as she negotiates what it means to become a woman. Engulfed by the vastness of the adult world, she searches for a gesture that provides hope. Kaveri, wants her childhood to continue forever, carefree and secure. Her world is threatened the day she reaches puberty, the day she becomes a woman. Her education will either come to an end or she will be married off, neither of which she desires, hence, she decides to hide this fact from her family.
