Rami is twelve when he has to leave his village in the south of Lebanon, where the violence that has just started, will eventually bring about a civil war. Once in Beirut, he finds a job in a café owned by a widow. But the war hits the city too, and brings bereavement and separations from dear friends. Twelve years after, we see Rami fighting to give a hope to his country, so that the children will not suffer for other wars any longer.
