The story of Frank and Nina is told to us by Gollum, only he has to write it on the walls because he does not speak: he is the keeper of those words that do not come out of his throat and that he writes on the buildings, as if the city were a great amplifier. Frank has been out of existence for a couple of years, but he sells homework outside schools for a living. He waits until he is eighteen to take the train and go away. Frank interprets reality so powerfully that he convinces us all. But then he meets Nina. Nina is ambi-tious and down–to–earth, but she has lis-tened to adults and finds herself in trouble. And now life as she wants it, is only in the pictures that she takes.
