When Surinamese Rosi, a 14-year-old girl with more soccer talent than self-confidence, has to move to the Netherlands for family reasons, nothing is the same anymore. At the new school Rosi struggles to fit in, but not for racial reasons. Because of her prowess she is quickly accepted onto the soccer team, however, her achievements arouse the envy of the other players and jeopardize her recently born friendship with Jitte. In the meantime, the relationship with her grandparents who remained in the homeland is still alive. |
