At the beginning of the 1990s, Sister Marina is sent to El Parral, an institute where some orphans live, currently threatened with closure. The children, who cannot go on holiday, are out of control but Marina captures their attention with her charisma and self-confidence. The children begin to look on in curiosity at this new nun who is immune to their pranks. Especially Valdo, with whom Marina bonds in a special way. When Marina discovers the boys' unauthorised night outings, she comes up with the idea that will change El Parral forever: forming a soccer team. A true story from which a champion was born.
