The film tells the story of Sara, a fifteen year old who suffers from anorexia. The girl lives a double life: an open one, where she plays the role of the good girl, diligent and seemingly problem-free, and a secret one made up of constrictions, self-discipline, iron rules to give her body an unreachable ideal weight. In the beginning nobody seems to notice anything. Sara manages to conceal her habits: forced fasts, runs in the park until she’s worn out, hours in the gym, lunches and dinners cunningly hidden in the trash bin under her house. Everything seems to go well. As she loses weight Sara feels increasingly strong, powerful, invincible. One day, however, during a school trip, she faints. From that moment on her problems with food, until then invisible, become evident to everyone.
