MEETING ONE-TO-ONE

In addition to the selection of short films from cinema schools from all around the world, Castellinaria organizes some one-to-one meetings between the directors of the short films presented and some emerging European producers. In this way, Castellinaria wishes to allow the young directors to face an audience and to confront themselves with some Swiss and European producers in order to discuss and highlight the strong points and the weaknesses of their projects. The meetings should be a hypothetical, and perhaps utopian, “possibility island” where ideas, criticism and comparisons find a ground, beyond the compelling logic of the market.
