MIDNIGHT SUN

Northern Canada. Luke discovers a polar bear cub that has been separated from its mother. Determined to get them back together, Luke gets help from Muktuk, half Inuit and half Canadian, who knows polar bear territory well. To accomplish his mission Luke will have to learn to protect himself and the cub from the dangers of the wilderness.

Brando Quilici has produced and directed more than 100 specials for TV networks all over the world, including the National Geographic and Discovery channels. He has won numerous awards such as the prestigious Jackson Hole award and the Palme d’Or at the Antibes Film Festival. His most famous works include King Tut’s Final Secret, and Nefertiti and the Lost Dynasty. His films have been featured on covers of National Geographic, written about in the New York Times and covered by CNN. In addition, he has worked on film projects with Oscar winners Hugh Hudson and Jake Ebert.

 

Roger Spottiswoode began his career as an editor of commercials and documentaries. He moved to the United States in the early 70s and debuted as a director in 1980 with Terror Train. Among his best-known films are Shoot to Kill and 007.Tomorrow Never Dies. His career also includes screenwriting, but only for two films: 48 Hours in 1982 and Another 48 Hours in 1990, both directed by Walter Hill and starring Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte.
