How do Palestinian and Jewish children live in a Jerusalem burdened with tension and split between the two communities? What is their relationship to “the others” like? And what do they share in common? This documentary depicts the daily routine of seven children and describes how the nearby eastern conflict affects their lives. Not only as sympathizing observers the film directors find out how old grudges are spread, but also as witnesses, they report on how the children analyse their own condition with an unexpected open-mindedness, which sometimes becomes stunning illumination.
