Abandoned by his mother at the age of six, Malony is constantly in and out of juvenile court. Responsible for him and his problems are Florence, a magistrate nearing his pension, and Yann, a youth worker who himself had a difficult childhood.
Together, they follow the boy's journey, trying not to fail in their efforts to save him. When Malony is sent to a strict rehabilitation centre, he meets Tess, a very unusual girl who manages to make him understand that there are reasons to have hope in a better future.
