The second edition of the screenwriting and directing workshop, which Castellinaria offers in the context of its film education program in cooperation with the REC Association.
According to the “learning by doing” principle, and coordinated by a professional from the festival and from REC, workshop participants (students from 12 to 20 years of age) write the screenplay for a short subject that will be filmed on a set created at a festival venue.
The products of the workshop will then be presented to the Castellinaria public and, thanks to the tie created with the Jugendfilmtage, also shown at the Zurich Film Festival.
Given the enthusiasm shown by the teachers who accompanied their students to the first “Action!” workshop, Castellinaria and the REC Association offer them and the other teachers who attended the film education course given by Giancarlo Zappoli and Gino Buscaglia, the chance to film their own short subject, the first Sunday of the festival, following the same format as the students.
