Maryam is a doctor aware of the responsibility of her role, working in a small hospital in Saudi Arabia. Despite her skills, she has to fight every day against the widespread prejudice in society towards women. In her family, even if her father is an open-minded musician, the memory of the mockery suffered by her mother, a singer now dead, is a heavy burden. When, following a series of contingencies, Maryam finds herself signing the documents as a candidate for the City Council, the situation becomes even more complicated.
