Dalia is a struggling London girl sent by her Italian mother to a small village in the Lang-he region to care for her grandfather Igor. Rural life is not easy to learn, but slowly the girl opens herself up to life, nature, and a re-lationship with her truffle–seeking grand-father that gets better and better. As demen-tia and an eviction notice loom, there is little time left to unearth the truffle of salvation in that fertile land.
