Gyung-soo, an actor in crisis, goes to see a writer friend of his who introduces him to dancer, Myung-sook, without revealing his love for her. The woman falls obsessively in love with Gyung-soo and the friendship between the men is ruined. So Gyung-soo decides to leave, and on the train encounters a young woman who says she knows him and beguns to seduce him. This time it's Gyung-soo who falls in love, but the woman seems always to escape him…"
"This is the story of men and women who try to make contact but find a void. Repeated twice in the film is the line: "It's hard to be human  beings.  Let's  try  not  to  be  monsters."
