Today’s Buenos Aires in the midst of protests against unemployment, the grave financial crisis and political corruption. Twenty-five-year-old Elsa is trying to survive with little temporary jobs and, with friends Laura, Walter and Toni, does not disdain even illegal ones. But her real dream, like that of thousands and thousands of Argentines, is to leave the country, to flee this hopeless situation and go far away, preferably to Italy. There, is fact, lives a guy she once spent the night with and with whom she feels in love. In addition, Italy is the land of her grandfather, an anarchist who left Sicily for Argentina years ago searching for a better life, and to whom she feels very close, in a relationship of secret-sharing that strengthens her political awareness and will to leave a country in turmoil. Walter, who has a kind of love affair with Elisa, finally finds the way to get her to Europe. But Italy won’t be up to her expectations….
