Joseph is a Jewish kid who lives in Paris and he is the youngest of a very large family.
He loves playing marbles in the street with his brother. With the arrival of the SS in town, however, life gets harder and harder: So, one night, their parents decide to make them escape to eventually reunite with them in a pre-established place. This will be the beginning of a journey that will last till the end of the war.
