Marco Pressi is a 30-year-old manager who works for a big multinational, the MTI. One day he is offered a big career advancement if he agrees to get a certain number of employees to quit in a short time. He has to convince them that their decision is a good one, so they won't seek union help. He won't be helped in this by Laura, his almost-girlfriend he knows little about, wanting only to sleep beside her; nor will he be helped by those involved in his action, or by the general manager, convinced that Marco won’t succeed in his thankless task. Will Pressi be cynical and determined enough to do it?
